    Papa,
    Someday, when I’m awfully low
    And the world is cold
I will feel a glow just thinking of you
And the way you looked that day.

    Yes, you’re lovely
With your smile so warm, and your cheek so soft
There is nothing for me but to love you
Just the way you looked that day.

With each word your tenderness grows
    Tearing my fear apart
And that smile that wrinkles your nose
    Touches my foolish heart

    Lovely, never, never change
    Keep that breathless charm
Won’t you please arrange it, ’cause I love you
Just the way you looked that day.
Just the way you always been.

    And…..

And I’ll be seeing you, in all the old, familiar places,
That this heart of mine embraces, all day through,
And in that small cafe, the park along the way,
The children’s carousel, The chestnut trees and the wishing well,
And I’ll be seeing you, in every love me summer’s day,
In everything that’s light and gay, I’ll always think of you that way,
And I’ll find you, in the morning sun, and when the night is young,
I’ll be looking at the moon, but I’ll be seeing you.

You are my first love, from my very first breath to your last one…
Je t’aime et tu me manques plus que tout au monde.
    Adrienne. Ta fille.
